This is by far the best Afro-Caribbean store I’ve been to in Canada. This place is super clean. It doesn’t have that weird stinky smell you get at all the other stores in Edmonton. Seriously, they sell authentic African/ Caribbean food minus the dirt and awful smell.The service there is always exceptional. I needed something and didn’t even know what it was and Lilian who is a co-owner literally saved my life by showing bitter leaf An organic green vegetable from West Africa tastes so good. I love the specials the area is perfect not too far from Downtown, SE or SW of Edmonton. EKO. If you haven’t tried it you got to make it a point to visit sooner than later. There is so much more to say with very little space to write it all down. I didn’t even get to the hair products. Just go and see it for yourself

First time visiting Eko Afro-Carribean Store and I was really excited when I saw they had a large selection of items - took care of the bulk of my needs. Easy to locate in a serene environment, with nice ambience for shopping. Warm reception and excellent customer service from the owner. A great place for your ethnic food shopping and traditional snacks. Lilian helps navigate the store and you always leave encouraged for your next purchase. Our family loves this place. Truly a taste of home!
